Plan a Visit

Find out if one of the majors in the College of Computer, Mathematical, and Natural Sciences (CMNS) is right for you by filling out our interest form and signing up to attend one of our upcoming virtual or in-person sessions.

CMNS Prospective Freshman Information Sessions:

Advanced registration is required for all prospective student events. Registration will close for each event as capacity is reached. Events this summer are for rising seniors and rising juniors in high school.
Zoom CMNS prospective student information sessions:
June 14: 3:30-4:30 p.m.-
July 19: 2:30-3:30 p.m.-
In-person CMNS prospective student information sessions: Registrants must select a specific time block for the date they want to attend, and options will be removed as they fill up (9-10:15 a.m., 10:45 a.m.-noon, or 1:15-2:30 p.m.).
In-person CMNS events are held on dates when undergraduate admissions offers Maryland Information Sessions and Terrapin Tours. You must register for one of these events separately from the CMNS session. You can view all events on the admissions calendar.

University-Wide Sessions

The University of Maryland hosts special visit days throughout the year so that you can learn about the whole campus - from academics and campus tours to resident life - in one day! You can also register for a Maryland Information Session or a Terrapin Tour.
