CMNS Prospective Freshman Information Sessions:
Summer CMNS information sessions are meant for students who will be high school juniors and seniors in fall 2025. At each session, Eden Hurley will go over all majors in CMNS, talk about what it means if you are applying to an LEP program, and answer questions using 26+ years of knowledge about the University.
Virtual (Zoom) session - includes a panel of current students:
Monday, August 11 from 5-6:30 p.m. EST: https://forms.gle/yDsBPPACdMWPMMf26
You are welcome to attend both a Zoom and an in-person event; registrations for multiple in-person events will be canceled.
In-person, on-campus sessions:

Wednesday, August 13 from 12:45-2:25 p.m. EST: https://forms.gle/9JgqVtCBw2cfnVYt6
If you need to cancel a CMNS event, please email Eden Hurley at egarosi@umd.edu with the date AND time of the event and the name of the registered student ASAP so another family can take your spot.
CMNS sessions do not include a campus tour. Terrapin Tours, Maryland Information Sessions, and Next Stop Maryland (for admitted students) offered by the Office of Undergraduate Admissions (OUA) must be booked through their site. If you need to cancel an OUA session, please contact visit@umd.edu.
