The CMNS Teaching & Learning Center (TLC) promotes excellence in teaching and learning in the sciences.

The TLC organizes conversations on teaching and learning for faculty, postdoctoral scholars, and graduate students (in coordination with the campus Teaching and Learning Transformation Center); shares teaching innovations; and discusses pressing issues in undergraduate science education.

The TLC team designs programs to meet the needs of new faculty members and new teaching assistants as they begin their teaching and research responsibilities. We encourage coordination among departmental graduate teaching assistants preparatory courses and other courses dealing with university teaching.
