Careful planning is essential to getting the most out of your academic experience.
All students are expected to:
- develop a four-year plan toward graduation
- meet benchmarks as part of making satisfactory progress towards their degree
- understand and follow University and College academic policies
Valuable learning opportunities exist outside the classroom so students are encouraged to:
- explore internship and research opportunities
- consider studying abroad
- consider participating in a Departmental Honors Program
- get involved in student organizations on campus
- consider teaching, becoming a TA, or tutoring
Students interested in attending professional schools should make use of the following:
- the Reed-Yorke Health Professions Advising Office for medicine, dentistry, and other health professions
- the Pre-Law Advising Office for students interested in pursuing law
Post-bacc students who want to take foundational biology, chemistry, and physics courses:
