Biography

Wendy Loughlin has been with the University of Maryland since 1996 and has been the Director of the Health Professions Advising Office (HPAO) since 2006. At UMD, she has served as Assistant Director of the Orientation Office and for nine years in CMNS as Director of New Student Programs, prior to moving to the HPAO.

Wendy has held local, regional and national leadership positions within the health professions advising community with The National Association of Advisors in the Health Professions, the Northeast Association of Advisors in the Health Professions and as the Founder and Chair of the Chesapeake Region Local Area Network of advisors and professional school deans and directors.
