Biography

David Currie is the new Studio Director for the Science Academy at the College of Computer, Mathematical, and Natural Sciences. Previously, David worked for 10 years in increasingly senior roles at Georgetown University's School of Continuing Studies, most recently as the Digital Classroom & Broadcast Director. Working alongside a marketing team, an MPS journalism program, and an instructional design team, David directed all production in Georgetown’s LG Digital Broadcast Studio. He is also a proud Georgetown grad; he earned a Bachelor of Liberal Studies degree, and he also served as an adjunct faculty member in the Master’s in Journalism program. In David’s spare time, he enjoys the arts, specifically painting and creative video projects. In 2023, David won an individual artist award through the Baltimore Office of Promotion in the Arts. David is also the proud parent of a French Bulldog puppy and a 1964 Chevy Belair classic car.
