45 Faculty Members Promoted in UMD’s College of Computer, Mathematical, and Natural Sciences

The University of Maryland’s College of Computer, Mathematical, and Natural Sciences (CMNS) announced the promotions of 21 tenured/tenure-track faculty members, 11 instructional faculty members and 12 research faculty members in summer 2026. An additional faculty member was named Distinguished University Professor—the highest academic honor bestowed by the university.
