Biography
A native of Orange, Virginia, Sarah-Jo graduated from George Washington University in 2008 with a B.A. in Communication and Sociology. In 2010, she earned her M.A. in Tourism Administration (sports management) as a Presidential Administrative Fellow at GW. As an advising professional, she has served as an Athletics Academic Advisor at GW and worked most recently as an Associate Director of Academic Services at Clemson University. She enjoys all aspects of advising in higher education as she believes what she does helps young people become better versions of themselves through mentorship, relationship-building and learning, which are important keys to success.

In my spare time, I enjoy:
Attending church, playing and watching sports, cycling and group fitness classes, reading, watching movies and exploring local coffee shops. I live in Hanover, MD with my partner who is a women's basketball coach at UMBC, our daughter, Jordan (15), and our dachshund, Dexter (6).
