Advice for high school seniors when choosing which school to attend: Pick somewhere with a welcoming environment and a campus that you actually like walking around on (you'll be spending a lot of time there!) Although it seems a little shallow, the appearance of campuses was really important to me when I was choosing since being in nice surroundings really helps my mood. A welcoming environment and lots of campus involvement were also important to me because I found that these made it much easier to reach out to people and make lasting connections on campus.
