Alfredo Nava-Tudela is the Director of Scientific Computing for the Institute for Physical Science and Technology (IPST) and a Scientific Development Officer at The Norbert Wiener Center for Harmonic Analysis and Applications (NWC) at the University of Maryland. He earned his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, and Scientific Computation from the University of Maryland in 2012. Alfredo is interested in sparse representations of images, information theory and the application of machine learning to image processing.
