Ruth Heffes

Ruth manages CMNS's spaces across all departments and buildings, including off-campus holdings at ESSIC, IBBR and IHC; assigns and maximizes space use; manages large capital and small renovation projects; and assists our faculty in getting the facilities they need for research.  

Prior to joining UMD,  Ruth held positions as a project manager for federal contracts, an R&D chemical process engineer and pilot plant manager and a project engineer in chemical manufacturing.

She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from Lehigh University.
