Apply for Graduation
All students must apply for graduation in order to have their degree cleared at the end of the semester and receive their diploma. Please note that submitting an RSVP for commencement and submitting a graduation application are not the same thing. The deadlines for undergraduate students to submit graduation applications on Testudo are as follows:
- Summer 2026 graduation applications are due by TBA.
- Fall 2026 graduation applications are due by TBA.
- Spring 2027 graduation applications are due by TBA.
If the deadline to apply for graduation has passed, please email cmnsque@umd.edu to request a late graduation application.
Regalia
Graduation regalia is required. All students can purchase regalia from the University Book Center or online from Oak Hall. Bachelor's degree candidate regalia are available for purchase only.
Faculty and staff should contact their department's commencement coordinator for assistance with bulk regalia orders or order online. Faculty and staff regalia will be available for pick-up in early May.
