Dee Dee Dolan

Deirdre (Dee Dee) is a senior Atmospheric and Oceanic Science major from Frederick, Maryland. She completed the College Park Scholars Arts program and is vice president of UMD's chapter of the American Meteorological Society. Dee Dee was also a member of the Mighty Sound of Maryland marching band for two years. Her favorite place on campus is the courtyard outside of the Atlantic Building, and her favorite class so far has been AOSC200: Introduction to Weather and Climate.

Alexis Beaver is a sophomore Biological Sciences: Neurobiology and Physiology major, and is part of  BioFIRE and FIRE. In her free time she enjoys watching movies, going out with friends, and avoiding chemistry at all costs. Deeksha Walia

Deeksha is a junior majoring in Biological Sciences with a specialization in Neurobiology and Physiology from Baltimore, MD. She is also minoring in Spanish. Deeksha interns in Annapolis and does clinical work in doctor’s offices in Baltimore. She is currently in the process of looking for research opportunities. She’s on the UMD Bhangra dance team, is an avid cereal connoisseur, and loves to go on runs around campus.

Alina is a senior Computer Science major with an upper level concentration in Women's Studies. She is in the University Honors program and is involved in Honors tutoring and the Association for Women in Computing. She interned at JHUAPL last summer and will be returning there for summer 2018. Alina is from Elkridge, Maryland (in Howard County) and in her spare time she enjoys reading, dance, and hiking.

Isaac Soltz 

Isaac Soltz is a junior computer science major at the University of Maryland and is part of the QUEST Honors Program in the Robert H. Smith School of Business. Originally interested in medicine, he worked at the National Cancer Institute following his senior year of high school. Always looking to mess around with code, Isaac has made a sudoku solver in Java and has experience with OpenCV, an open-source computer vision library. His interests within computer science are medical applications of software, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence; when away from his computer, he can be found reading, blasting music, or tossing a frisbee.

He is currently an undergraduate researcher at the Trapped Ion Quantum Information Laboratory at the Joint Quantum Institute at UMD.
