Elizabeth is a junior Astronomy and Physics double major in the University Honors Program from Germantown, MD. She is a member of Ballet Company M and a Head Coach in the Math Success Program. Valentina Petroni

Valentina is a junior Astronomy and Physics double major from Mahwah, NJ. She is involved with the Maryland Equestrian Club and loves to take care of the horses on campus. She also loves joining the Astronomy Genteladies Network (AGN) for biweekly tea times and loves to volunteer at the University’s observatory when she has the time. Dee Dee Dolan

Deirdre (Dee Dee) is a first year Master's student in Atmospheric and Oceanic Science from Frederick, Maryland. She is in the four plus one combined Bachelor's and Master's program. She completed the College Park Scholars Arts program and was vice president of UMD's undergraduate chapter of the American Meteorological Society. Dee Dee was also a member of the Mighty Sound of Maryland marching band for two years. Her favorite place on campus is the courtyard outside of the Atlantic Building, and her favorite class so far has been AOSC200: Introduction to Weather and Climate.

Emily Robinson

Emily is a junior, Biochemistry major with a Math minor from Baltimore County, MD. She was a part of BioFIRE Living and Learning program and her favorite classes currently are BSCI222 (Genetics) and CHEM247 (Organic Chemistry II). Her favorite spot on campus is the area outside of the Physical Science Complex building. Alexis Beaver is a junior Biological Sciences: Physiology and Neurobiology major and is part of  BioFIRE and FIRE. She is from Queenstown, MD and her favorite places on campus include the Natatorium at Eppley and the stone steps in front of McKeldin Library. In her free time she enjoys watching movies, going out with friends, and avoiding chemistry at all costs. Allison is a senior from from Montgomery County, Maryland who is double majoring in General Biology and Communication. As a researcher on campus, she is studying supramolecular chemistry with the Davis Group. She is a College Park Scholars: Science and Global Change alum and a supplemental instructor for CHEM 241 and BSCI 160. Her favorite places on campus are the Physical Sciences Complex and the third wing of the Chemistry Building. Bobbi is a sophomore from Derwood, Maryland. She is double majoring in Biological Sciences: Physiology and Neurobiology and Hearing and Speech Sciences. She is a part of the FIRE Program, and she lives in Language House LLC, where she is a part of the Spanish cluster. Brittany Shapiro is a sophomore majoring in Biological Sciences: Cell Biology and Genetics from Huntingtown, Maryland. Caroline is a sophomore completing a dual degree in Biological Sciences: Physiology and Neurobiology and Germanic Studies. Gurbani is a junior completing a dual degree in Biological Sciences: Physiology and Neurobiology and Women’s Studies, with a minor in Spanish Language. She’s from North Potomac, MD and is a member of the Integrated Life Sciences (ILS) honors program. Her favorite places to study are the library in the Clarice and the Quantum Café in the Physical Science Complex. She’s on the UMD Bhangra dance team, is an avid cereal connoisseur, and loves to go on runs around campus.

She is in the BioFIRE living and learning program and continued as a peer mentor in the Transgenerational Brain Initiative stream. Isaac Soltz is a senior Computer Science major and is part of the QUEST Honors Program in the Robert H. Smith School of Business. Originally interested in medicine, he worked at the National Cancer Institute following his senior year of high school. Always looking to mess around with code, Isaac has made a sudoku solver in Java and has experience with OpenCV, an open-source computer vision library. His interests within computer science are medical applications of software, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence; when away from his computer, he can be found reading, blasting music, or tossing a frisbee.

Mary Nicole is a junior Computer Science major with an upper level concentration in Criminology/Criminal Justice from Westchester, NY. Yuval is a graduate student from Rockville, MD pursuing his Masters degree in Computer Science through the department of computer science's combined MS/BS program. Yuval is currently a TA for CMSC216: Intro to Computer Systems and CMSC389N: Intro to Full Stack Architecture, an organizer for Technica, the worlds largest all-women and non-binary hackathon, a student manager at Sandbox, a student run maker-space located in the new Brendan Iribe Center, and a member of the history honors society. Cameron Hewitt

Cameron is a sophmore Applied Mathematics major with an intended minor in Business Analytics from Frederick, Maryland. He is involved on campus with the Residence Hall Association (RHA) and the First-Year Innovation and Research Experience (FIRE). He is currently enrolled in the Immunogenetics stream and the summer fellowship offered by this program. His interests include planning large scale events and parties, taking multiple naps a day to compensate for the lack of sleep he gets, and binge-watching Netflix when he can.

Jonathan is a sophmore mathematics major from Potomac, Maryland. His favorite place on campus is the undergraduate math building lounge and his favorite classes so far have been MATH340 (Honors Multivariable Calculus) and MATH403 (Abstract Algebra). Jonathan is involved in the Beekeeping Club, the Rubik's Cube club, and the Swing Dance Club. Jonathan has the Maryland state record for solving a rubik's cube with his feet.
